Q: 什麼是 Battle Pass(戰鬥通行證)?
每月賽季制的成就系統,完成目標獲得獎勵。免費版獲得基礎獎勵,Pro 版獎勵翻倍。
Q: Boss 每天可以打幾次?
每個 Boss 每天可以挑戰一次,隔日重置。不同 Boss 分開計算,所以你每天可以挑戰多位不同的 Boss。

During work hours, your salary accumulates automatically
Pick your favorite character and pet, and start your Salary Walker journey
No download, no install, no account required. Just open your browser and play. On iPhone and iPad you can also get the app from the App Store.
No sign-up needed: the first time you open the app, a guest account is created automatically. You can link Google, Apple or email later.
Salary Counter
How It Works
Calculation: Monthly salary ÷ working hours in the month = hourly rate, converted to per-second income.
Default hours: 08:00–17:00, Monday to Friday (editable)
Automatically excludes national holidays (Taiwan calendar)
Make-up work days (Saturdays) count as workdays
Salary does not accumulate outside work hours
Daily settlement: at your configured end-of-work time (17:00 by default) the system settles the day's salary. Salary is a separate counter and is never converted into in-game gold — gold comes only from in-game sources (kills, quests, the wheel, check-ins). The two are tracked independently.
Setting Your Salary
Open the Settings panel and enter your monthly salary. The system automatically calculates daily income based on actual working days in the current month.
Combat & Growth
RPG Combat System
Salary Walker features a full RPG combat system. Fight monsters and level up while you idle at work.
Combat Mode
Your character automatically attacks nearby monsters — no manual input needed. Click a monster to view its details.
Progression
Killing monsters grants XP and gold
Each level up increases HP and ATK
Max level: Lv200 (from Lv101 monsters loop into enhanced versions at higher stats)
Once your character passes Lv100, you enter Loop Mode and can keep leveling all the way to Lv200. No rebirth or reset — your level, gear, and gold are all kept.
From Lv101, monsters you’ve already beaten return as “enhanced” versions at higher stats, marked with ⁺ (Lv1–100 is loop one, Lv101–200 is loop two — two loops in total)
A 🔄 loop badge next to your level shows which loop you’re on
New loop titles: Century Breaker (Lv100), Loop Walker (Lv150), Walking God (Lv200)
Stat points keep accumulating with level — 600 total at Lv200
New weapons and other supporting features are on the way
Offline Combat
Switch tabs, minimize the window, have another window fully cover it, let your phone go to background (screen off), or close the tab, quit the browser, or shut the computer down — in every one of these cases, once more than 60 seconds pass, the system calculates kills, gold, and XP for that period when you return (75% efficiency, 90% for Pro; up to 4 hours max, 8 hours for Pro). Under 60 seconds nothing is calculated and your current battle is not interrupted. All of the above pay exactly the same — closing the browser does not earn you less than leaving a window open.
When you return you get the Offline Harvest panel. Below the cap it shows how long you were offline (for example “Offline for 40m”); at the cap it shows what was credited against the cap instead — 10 hours away reads “Offline earnings: 4h / 4h (cap)”, and time beyond the cap is not counted.
What counts is whether the screen is still rendering, not whether you are present. If the browser pauses rendering (minimized, fully covered, or switched to another tab or app), offline calculation applies — even if you are sitting right in front of the computer. The same applies if you close the page entirely: the game remembers when you were last active and picks up from that moment the next time you open it.
Offline earnings are capped per account, not per device. Play on your phone, then open your desktop, and what gets credited is “since you last played” — not one batch on each machine. The record of when you were last active also lives in that device’s browser, so clearing browser data or using a private window loses it (your account save itself is unaffected).
Offline drops are exactly half of online: online starts at 1% plus every drop bonus you have (pets 🍀, friends, guild, traits, theme cards, Luck), and offline is that same number halved. The item cap is 8 per credited hour (short sessions still get an allowance of 5) — so investing in drop rate pays off offline too, within that cap
When your backpack is full, new drops go to your 📬 Rewards mailbox first — claim them once you free up space. The mailbox holds up to 50 items; once it is full only the best 50 are kept and weaker drops are lost (no gold). Keep some space free, expand your backpack with diamonds (see "Equipment"), or, as a Pro player, enable Auto-Sell in Settings: if even the mailbox can't keep a drop, it sells low-tier gear to make room and picks the drop back up

Four ways to unlock
Free: 5 starters, available from the beginning (The Walker is the default; you can switch anytime)
Gold: 38 characters, 16,000–650,000 gold, with a level requirement
Diamonds: 31 characters, 100–800 💎
Boss shards: 7 samurai characters, unlocked with shards dropped by the matching Boss (see "Boss Shard Collection")
Every character has 5 base stats (ATK / DEF / HP / LUK / SPD) plus exactly one passive skill (see "Character Traits" below), so the choice is not purely cosmetic. Body size also affects on-screen layout (see "On-screen Display").
Character Traits
Each character has a fixed set of 5 base stats (ATK / DEF / HP / LUK / SPD) plus exactly one passive skill, making character choice a strategic decision beyond appearance.
Base stats: ATK, DEF, HP, LUK (crit rate / crit multiplier / drop rate), SPD (attack speed / multi-hit)
11 passive skill types: Gold%, XP%, HP regen, heal-on-kill, offline efficiency, drop rate, dodge, crit, instant kill (1% or 2% chance, ineffective on Boss), faith shield, clone
View your current character's trait bonuses in the Shop stats panel
Stat Allocation
Gain stat points on level up and distribute them across 5 attributes to define your playstyle.
5 Attributes
ATK: raises damage per hit
DEF: reduces incoming damage
HP: raises total life
LUK: raises crit rate, crit damage multiplier, and item drop rate
SPD: raises attack speed and multi-hit chance
Auto-Allocation
Not sure how to distribute? Tap "🎮 Auto-Allocate" and pick a build — the system will allocate for you:
⚖️ Balanced: even spread — recommended for new players
⚔️ Boss: ATK+HP+DEF — steady damage, hard to kill
⚡ Speedster: ATK+SPD+HP — ideal for bosses
🎯 Loot: ATK+LUK+SPD — maximum loot
🛡️ Tank: HP+DEF+ATK — idle survival
While auto-allocate is on, every level-up re-spreads all your points by the chosen build, overwriting any manual tweaks. Applying a loadout won't change your stat points either (see Loadouts). To use custom stats, turn auto-allocate off first.
Pentagon Radar Chart
The overview panel shows a pentagon radar chart so you can see your stat distribution at a glance. Zero values collapse to the center; a perfectly balanced build fills the entire pentagon.
Stat Reset
Want a different playstyle? Re-allocating is free and unlimited — drag any stat back to 0 in the allocation panel and redistribute, at no cost. After a boss defeat, the system will also recommend a rebuild based on your cause of death (can't deal damage / got one-shot / ran out of time).
Boss Challenges
Beyond regular idle combat, you can take on powerful Boss encounters for guaranteed fixed rewards.
How to Challenge
Tap the 👑 icon on screen to open the Boss selection screen
Each boss can be challenged once per day; resets daily
Different bosses are tracked separately, so you can fight multiple bosses each day
⚡ Sweep All
Bosses you have already defeated before can be settled without fighting, via “⚡ Sweep All”
A sweep covers every boss you have beaten that you have not fought today, settled in one go
Rewards are identical to fighting manually (fixed gold, XP, one chest each); each boss is still once per day
Sweeping consumes today’s attempts — fight the bosses you want to play manually first, then sweep
Chests that do not fit go to your mailbox (claim within 30 days); you cannot sweep with a completely full backpack
Sweeping does not open chests — opening stays up to you (gear that does not fit when you open one goes to your mailbox)
Boss Mechanics
Every boss has fixed HP, ATK, and DEF stats that don't scale with your level
Each fight has a time limit; running out of time counts as a defeat
Higher-tier bosses are significantly tougher and require better gear
Each boss has a unique combat skill (dodge, shield, power strike, stun, heal, clone, haste, etc.)
Market multiplier: each Seven-Titans boss is tied to one US stock. Its HP and ATK scale daily by × (1 + change%) — stock up → boss tougher, stock down → boss weaker. The 📈/📉 chip on the boss card shows today's move.
Crit mechanic: bosses can land critical hits (5% on tutorial bosses, 8–15% on mid-to-late game), with 1.5×–2.5× multiplier depending on the boss. This is the main source of risk for over-leveled players.
Berserk mechanic: when a boss drops below 30% HP it goes berserk and its ATK rises by 50% (attack speed is unchanged). The boss tints red and a "Berserk" label appears. It is triggered by HP, not by how long the fight has run
Themed arenas: every boss has its own sky background and weather pool (cloud platform, silicon cathedral, Mars launchpad, etc.). One weather is randomly picked on entry and reverts when the fight ends.
Boss menu shows "Recommended ATK" to help gauge if your gear is sufficient
Boss Rewards
Defeating a boss grants a fixed amount of gold and XP
Every victory guarantees one chest (not a direct gear drop) — the chest goes to your backpack / mailbox, and its contents are decided the moment you receive it (using your level at that time). Opening is just the reveal, so level up before challenging the boss — saving chests to open later gains you nothing
Chest rarity scales with boss tier — the harder the boss, the better the odds of a high-rarity chest
After Defeat
The system analyzes cause of death (can't deal damage / one-shot / timeout) and recommends a stat rebuild direction
Battle report records your stat allocation at the time for post-analysis
Strengthen your equipment before taking on high-tier bosses to improve your chances of success.
Boss Shards
Defeating a boss whose corresponding character is still locked drops 1–2 shards (100% rate). Collect enough to permanently unlock that character.

Seven Titans Tournament ⚔️
Predict tomorrow's tournament champion — free, once a day. A correct pick earns a 24-hour power boost, and longer streaks make the buff stronger. Entertainment only: no charge, and not investment advice.
How to Play
Tap ⚔️ in the HUD to open the Arcade → Tournament, then pick the one warrior you think will be tomorrow's champion
Betting window: 08:00–21:00 Taiwan time, daily — and only when a match is scheduled for the next day (closed on market holidays, while the match is running, and after the reveal; the panel shows the current status). Treat those hours as the rule of thumb: the window shifts a little with the US market's schedule, so the panel is the one to trust
Betting window: 08:00–21:00 Taiwan time, daily — and only when a match is scheduled for the next day (closed on days with no match, while the match is running, and after the reveal; the panel shows the current status). Treat those hours as the rule of thumb: the window can shift a little, so the panel is the one to trust
Betting is free — one pick per match, locked in as soon as you submit
The reveal happens the next day at 07:00 Taiwan time: the panel plays a countdown revealing all seven placements; rank 1 is that match's champion
Rewards
Correct → +20% Combat Power / +20% Attack Speed for 24 hours. The countdown starts the first time you log in after the reveal — logging in starts it automatically, you don't have to open the panel — and from there it runs continuously, including the hours you aren't playing. So log in and start fighting if you want the full value.
3+ correct picks in a row → the buff upgrades to +30% Combat Power / +30% Attack Speed
10 correct picks in total (need not be consecutive; once per player) → 100,000 gold + 200 diamonds 💎 + the "Wulin Rising Star" title, claimed from the "📬 Rewards" mailbox in the top-right corner
Wrong pick → no reward, and your streak resets to zero
Skipping a day while betting was open also breaks the streak. Market holidays have no betting window, so they never break it.
Skipping a day while betting was open also breaks the streak. Days with no match have no betting window, so they never break it.
Each warrior card also shows a ticker and company name (MSFT / AAPL / NVDA / TSLA / AMZN / META / GOOGL); placements are ranked by those seven stocks' daily percentage moves. Bosses themselves shift with the stock too: when the matched stock is up, that boss's HP / ATK scale up for the day; when it's down, they scale down. Check the 📈/📉 chip on the boss card before diving in.
Each warrior card shows that warrior's title; placements are decided by each day's match result, and rank 1 is that match's champion.
Disclaimer: betting is always free and involves no money. Rewards are in-game buffs and virtual items only — they carry no cash or securities value and cannot be redeemed. This mechanic is for entertainment and is not investment advice, nor an offer or recommendation of any financial product.
Daily Quests
Daily quests use a 3-slot system with increasing difficulty. Claim rewards individually upon completion.
Slot A (Idle baseline): Kill 30 monsters, walk 3km, drop 1 item, earn gold, survive 30 min, etc.
Slot B (Daily goal): Kill 80 monsters, walk 8km, drop 3 items, etc.
Slot C (Challenge): Defeat 1 Boss, trigger 1 event, sell 3 items, kill 50 with zero deaths, etc.
Each slot grants gold + XP + diamonds 💎 on completion (Slot A: 1, Slot B: 2, Slot C: 3). Completing all three unlocks an extra bonus (gold + XP + 2 diamonds). Quests reset daily at midnight (Taiwan time).
Beginner Guide Quests
Your first playthrough includes a one-time beginner quest chain. Following it step by step introduces each of the game's systems. Two milestones are worth noting:
Lv10 — unlocks the Boss challenge
Lv12 — claim a full Tier 2 set (8 pieces); equip it and you can beat your first Boss
The Lv12 set needs 8 free backpack slots. If your backpack is full you'll be asked to free up space first — the reward is not lost. This reward is only granted to accounts that started playing before reaching Lv12.
Achievements
28 one-time achievements that grant rewards upon unlock.
First Steps — equip any item
Novice Set ~ Eternal Set — collect a full 8-piece set of the same tier

Monthly Ranking
Global Top 50 leaderboard ranked by Combat Power (CP). The panel shows this month's Season Peak Top 50 with level, title, peak CP and your monthly targets. From October 2026 it is split into three tier tabs (see below).
The board does not poll or auto-refresh: it is fetched when you open the panel, when a cloud sync completes, or when you tap ↻ yourself
Settlement runs at 06:00 (Taiwan time) on the 1st of every month and last month's rewards are delivered straight to your 📬 Rewards mailbox — there is no "last month" tab to claim from
Rankings are based on your highest CP reached during the month (season peak): any CP you hit is recorded as your peak, and swapping or unequipping gear afterwards never lowers it. Month-end settlement also ranks by peak.
From October 2026: three tiers ranked separately
Eligibility: you are listed for a month only if you cloud-synced during that month (from October). The board starts empty on the 1st of each month — sync once to appear
Three tiers, set by your level at the start of the month (when your CP is first recorded that month): Rookie Lv1–19 / Elite Lv20–99 / Apex Lv100–200 (server-wide top)
Leveling up mid-month does not move you: you stay in your tier until the month ends and are re-grouped by your new level next month
Apex = the original leaderboard, with the same rules: the month's solar-term title + gold (1st: 10M, 10th: 1M)
Elite: Top 10 earn an "Elite · solar term" title (e.g. Elite · Frost's Descent) + gold (1st: 3M, 10th: 300K)
Rookie: Top 10 earn a "Rookie · solar term" title (e.g. Rookie · Frost's Descent) + gold (1st: 100K, 10th: 10K)
Rookie / Elite titles are extra collectibles and do not count toward your title collection (the "X / N Unlocked" count on the Equip page); you can still equip them once earned
My rank card: when signed in, shown above the board with your tier, rank, peak CP, and how far you are from the Top 10 and the next rank — visible even outside the Top 50
October 2026 starts mid-month: syncs made before the new rules went live may not count as participation, so cloud-sync once more after the update to make sure you are listed for October. October tiers are set by your level when the new rules went live. October is settled under the new rules (three tiers) on November 1
Rewards
Top 10 earn an exclusive monthly title + gold rewards (through September 2026: 1st place 500K, 10th place 50K; from October rewards are per tier — see above)
Each month features a unique title — all 12 are named after solar terms ("Dragonrider of the Deep Frost" in January … "Heaven-Earth Blade of the Solstice" in December)
Leaderboard shows nickname + #publicId only, never real names
Story & CG Gallery
Salary Walker has a full main storyline — unlock world lore as you play.
Chapter Unlocks
Chapter 1 (Prologue) is step 7 of the beginner tutorial — it appears during the tutorial and plays when you tap it yourself; it never starts automatically
Previous chapter must be watched to unlock the next (strict linear progression)
Some chapters require a minimum level
Currently live: 12 chapters — 1. Prologue / 2. Monsters / 3. The Mimic / 4. Village / 5. Defense / 6. The Hunter's Guild / 7. Heroes / 8. The Rules / 9. The Cloud General / 10. Undercurrent / 11. The Question / 12. The Farm
Story Choices
Some chapters have multiple choices with different rewards (weapon, title, affinity)
Your choices are saved to the cloud and marked "Your Choice" on replay
Rewards can only be claimed once — on first completion
Chapter Epilogues
Each chapter ends with an epilogue segment that rounds out the worldbuilding.
CG Gallery
CG illustrations triggered during story playback are auto-collected in the gallery

4K wallpaper download supported (save your favorite art as desktop/phone wallpaper)
Heroine Companions 🌸
The three heroines — Nong, Hao and Xin — can join you as a companion, walking the road with you and jumping into fights at your side.
How to pick
In the Heroines tab of the menu, tap an outfit card and she walks with you right away; switch any time. Tap the card that is already walking again to walk alone (older app versions: the three cards in the Friends tab)
No login needed — guests can pick too; the Heroines tab appears once at least one heroine is unlocked
A heroine can only join after you have met her in the main story (spoiler-safe) — Nong: Ch.4 Village / Hao: Ch.5 Defense / Xin: Ch.8 The Rules
Only one companion at a time
Companion bonus
+2% gold and +2% XP
Stacks independently with friend party bonuses and pet talents
All three heroines give identical stats — pick purely by preference
The bonus is the same whichever outfit she wears
Outfits (Pro members only)
Every heroine has her Everyday outfit, free for everyone once she is unlocked, plus 3 special outfits, each with a full-colour illustration — Nong: Nun Habit, Office Suit, Bunny Maid / Hao: Nun Habit, Office Wear, Cat Maid / Xin: Nun Habit, Office Shirt, Fox Maid
Special outfits are exclusive to Pro members: while you are Pro, switch between all of them any time
Not Pro? You can still preview: tap a 🔒 outfit card to see the illustration and the idle, walk and attack animations — you just can't walk with her in it
When Pro expires, if your companion is wearing a special outfit she switches back to Everyday and you get a one-time notice; pick it again once you are Pro again
Outfits are cosmetic only — they don't change the companion bonus or any stats
Outfits are available on the web now; the iPhone/iPad app gets them in its next update.
Equipment & Economy
Equipment & Shop
Obtaining Equipment
Monsters have a chance to drop equipment (goes to backpack)
Buy from the Mystic Merchant (daily refresh) or Black Market (weekly refresh)
Boss chests: every boss kill drops a chest. It goes to your backpack / 📬 mailbox and its contents are rolled when you open it (higher rarity = better gear)
Some items are story rewards — not sold in shops, granted by story progression
Equipment comes in 8 tiers: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, Primal (unlocks at Lv120), and Eternal (unlocks at Lv160)
Backpack & Gear
Backpack capacity: 50 base slots (Free), expandable with diamonds in +10-slot steps (10 steps max, up to 150 slots); a Pro subscription sets capacity to a flat 300 slots
The expand button sits next to the capacity number at the top of the Backpack page ("➕ Expand") and shows the next step's price. It is hidden while a Pro subscription is active — Pro is already 300 slots, so buying would show no effect; slots bought earlier are not lost and take effect again once Pro ends
Diamonds can be bought in the iPhone app (see iOS In-App Purchases & Restore; the website does not sell them, but diamonds bought on the same account work on the web too). They also come from the daily wheel, daily quests, the 7-day check-in cycle, level milestones, guild boss rewards, and from clearing story chapters, the tutorial / onboarding flow, and binding an account (25 💎)

Purchased slots are permanent and stay with you even after Pro expires
With 5 slots left a backpack alert appears on the right of the main screen (amber); it turns red once the backpack is full. Tap it to go straight to the backpack — it disappears on its own once you free up space
Your offline summary tells you separately how many drops went to your mailbox because the backpack was full, and how many were discarded because even the mailbox couldn't keep them
Tap a backpack item to expand its details; the footer has three actions: Star (protects it from auto-sell), Sell (shows exactly how much gold you get), and Equip
"Auto-Equip" button automatically selects the best gear combination
Enhancement & Enchanting
Enhancement Workshop: spend gold to enhance gear — both equipped items and items in your backpack. The cap depends on tier: T1 +3, T2 +4, T3 +5, T4 +6, T5 +8, and only T6–T8 go to +10
Enchanting: Add special stat bonuses to equipment (see below)
Affix (Enchantment) System
Equipment may come with affix enchantments that provide fixed bonus stats. There are 8 types:
⚡ Swift: SPD +10 (attack speed & double-strike chance)
Important: Affix bonuses are fixed values and do NOT increase with enhancement level. For example, a weapon with "Keen ATK+3" will always give ATK+3 whether it's +0 or +10. In the equipment comparison panel, stats that include affix contributions are labeled "(Affix)".
The HP and DEF figures above are the effective values. HP and DEF from all gear (affixes included) are multiplied by a 0.8 combat-balance factor before they reach your power, to reduce how much gear dominates and make stat allocation matter more. So "Vital" reads HP 30 on the raw table but actually grants 24; "Stalwart" reads DEF 4 but grants 3.2. ATK, LUK, SPD, Regen and the rest are not affected.
Correction 2026-08-14: this page and the in-game text previously printed the raw values (HP +30) without the factor, creating a gap between "claimed 30" and "actually 24". Thanks to the player who reported it. Nothing was ever under-credited — the effective value has always been 24; only the wording was wrong.
Update 2026-05-18: 6 combat affixes received value buffs (Keen/Vital/Stalwart/Mending small bump, Swift/Fortunate 2×). Scholar/Lucky unchanged. Existing gear gets the new values automatically — no reforge needed.
Affix Reforging
At the Mystic Merchant, you can reforge equipment affixes:
Spend gold to randomly re-roll the affix on your equipment
Results are completely random — they may improve or worsen
Equipment without affixes cannot be reforged
A reroll draws from all 8 affixes and does not exclude the one you already have — so it can land on the same affix again (roughly 1 in 8 for a single-affix item). The confirmation now shows "old → new" so you can see exactly what happened
Double-affix items always get two different affixes from each other, but either one may match what you had before
Rerolling has no daily limit and does not count toward the Mystic Merchant's "today's purchases x/3" (that counter only tracks items bought)
Black Market gear may have dual affixes (two enchantments); both are re-rolled together
Enhancement Preview
Before enhancing, the system shows a stat-change preview so you can decide whether it's worth it:
Weapon: ATK bonus
Shield: DEF bonus
Armor (Helmet / Chestplate / Boots): HP + DEF bonus
Gloves: ATK bonus
Rune: DEF + HP bonus
Accessory: Gold%, XP%, or HP regen bonus (depends on accessory type)
Higher enhancement levels have increasing failure rates (+5: 10%, +6: 20%, +7: 35%, +8: 50%, +9: 65%, +10: 80%). Failure costs gold but the enhancement level does not drop.
Pity System
After enough consecutive failures, the next enhancement is guaranteed to succeed. Pity counters are tracked per item and reset on any successful enhancement.

Sell Price
Equipment sells for 50% of its purchase price
Enhanced gear sells at a premium: +5% per enhancement level (+10 = 1.5×)
Starred Items
Star (★) important equipment to protect it from being auto-sold
Auto-Sell is a Pro-only feature that you enable in Settings; it only sells unstarred low-tier white gear, and starred gear is never touched automatically
Unequipping while the backpack is full: a confirmation dialog shows the refund first, and the gear is only sold after you confirm (50% of its value plus an enhancement premium). Starred gear is blocked and cannot be unequipped
Note: when the backpack is full, new drops go to your 📬 Rewards mailbox; free up space and claim them from the "Mailbox" tab (best items first). The mailbox holds up to 50 items and does not expire; once full, only the best 50 are kept (by tier, enhancement and affixes) and weaker drops are lost with no compensation — keep some space free
Story reward items are starred by default to prevent accidental selling
Set Bonuses
Wearing equipment of the same tier activates set bonuses.

Resurrection Scroll only saves you from regular death — if a boss fight is already lost, the scroll won't continue the fight.
How to Use
Buy potions at the Consumable Shop → they go into your backpack
Assign them to the 4-slot hotbar via the "Set Shortcut" pill on the hotbar, or the ⚙ menu in the backpack
During combat, tap the hotbar icon to use
Pro Auto-Use
Pro subscribers can enable "Auto-Use Potions" (Settings → Advanced). The system will automatically:
Drink HP potion when HP < threshold (default 40%)
Use Resurrection Scroll on death
Activate Speed/Damage potion when a monster appears
Re-apply a buff 5 seconds before it expires
Auto-Equip & Auto-Sell
These are two different features with two different switches:
The "Auto-Equip" button (available to everyone): on the Equipment tab, shown as soon as your backpack is not empty. It opens 4 modes (Balanced / Combat / Gold / XP); pick one and the best gear for that goal is equipped in one tap. No Pro required.
"Auto-equip on drop" (Pro only): toggled in Preferences. When on, better gear you pick up is equipped automatically. It has no mode selector.
Auto-Sell (Pro only): toggled in Preferences. Automatically sells white equipment below your current tier (starred items are protected).
Loadouts
Save your whole current setup as one loadout, then switch with a tap. The entry point is on the Equipment tab (below the gear slots until you save one, then at the top). Available to every player, up to 3 loadouts.
How to use it
What you want
How
Save your first one
Below the gear slots on the Equipment tab, tap "+ Save current setup" (once you have one, the loadout row moves to the top of the tab) — it first shows your gear, title, pets and stat points as they are right now, and only stores them when you tap "Save" (same for empty slots 2 and 3)
Save another
Tap an empty slot (shown as "+ Save")
Switch to one
Tap that slot → "Apply" (one of the two side-by-side buttons at the bottom)
See one and compare it
Tap that slot to open its details (in the menu's right column on wide landscape screens, in a bottom sheet on phones): character, CP, a stat pentagon, all 8 gear slots, title and pets, compared with what you're wearing now — ▲▼ next to CP and stats show the difference, the dashed outline on the pentagon is your current setup, and gear slots that differ get a dot. Stats are shown as they'd be applied at your current level. ⚠️ CP excludes LUK / SPD (and pets and skills), so luck- or speed-heavy loadouts show lower CP without actually being weaker. The tiny pentagon on each slot is that loadout's stat shape
Rename
Tap that slot → the ✎ next to the name (10 characters max)
Update one to your current setup
Tap that slot → "Overwrite with current" (next to "Apply"). The details turn into a two-column comparison — "Saved" on the left, "Current" on the right — with changed items highlighted and the rest folded into "N other items are the same" (tap to expand). Nothing is saved until you tap "Overwrite"; "Cancel" takes you back. The old contents cannot be recovered
Delete one
Tap that slot → "Delete" at the top right (you'll be asked to confirm)
The loadout you are currently using is highlighted. You can switch mid-battle — your next attack uses the new gear.
What a loadout remembers
Remembered
Not remembered
Your character
Pet levels (those are earned, switching never changes them)
All 8 equipment slots
Gold, diamonds, consumables
Your equipped title
Backpack contents
Which pets are out
Stat points
Six rules worth knowing first
A slot that was empty when you saved will be emptied when you apply. If you had no boots at save time, applying later will move your boots back to the backpack.
Gear you no longer own leaves that slot untouched. Items you sold, melted or auto-sold do not come back; the slot keeps whatever you are wearing and you will be told after applying.
A character you don't own will not be forced on you. If the loadout's character is no longer available to you (a Pro rental that expired, say), applying keeps your current character and tells you afterwards.
A "same name but different" backpack copy is never substituted in. A loadout records the full spec of that piece — enhancement level and affixes included. If your backpack only holds one with different affixes, or a lower enhancement than when you saved, it will not be swapped in; the slot keeps what you are wearing and you are told after applying. The other way round: if you enhanced the very piece you saved, applying uses the enhanced version.
Adjusting anything by hand leaves the loadout. Once you change your character, gear, title, pets or stat points yourself, the highlight disappears — what you are wearing is no longer that set.
Equipping or unequipping by hand turns Auto-Equip off. Otherwise the next drop could swap away the piece you just picked. Re-enable it in Settings whenever you like; the "Auto-Equip" button in the shop is unaffected and can still be pressed for a one-off pass.
Stat points and auto-allocate
A loadout remembers your stat points at save time: a preset (Balanced / Boss / Speed / Loot / Tank) or a custom snapshot, which is rescaled from your saved ratio to your current level.
Auto-allocate on level up is not part of a loadout: applying one always keeps your current setting and never turns it on or off.
Auto-allocate is on (any mode): applying does not change your stat points — only gear, character, title and pets. You will see "kept Auto-allocate; this loadout's saved stats were not applied" afterwards.
Auto-allocate is off: applying switches to the stat points saved in the loadout.
Want a loadout to bring its own custom stat points? Turn auto-allocate off in the stat window first, then apply.
Switching is free, and re-allocating stat points is currently free and unlimited too.
Loadouts are manual only — the game never switches them for you.

A red dot appears on the chat button when there are new messages (refreshes about every 60 seconds; can be turned off in Settings)
Guild System
Unlocked at Lv.10 after completing "The Hunter's Guild" story. Tap the 🛡️ icon on screen to open the guild panel.
Joining a Guild
Search guilds by name or browse the popular list; joining requires approval from the leader or officers
Or found your own guild (costs gold) to become the leader
You can only have one pending application at a time — cancel it before applying elsewhere
Contribution & Guild Quests
Weekly guild quests: the guild works together on three targets (50,000 kills, 500,000 gold donated, 100,000 distance). On completion each member claims a personal reward (gold + contribution) — it is not a guild-wide buff. Guild buffs come only from guild level
Donate gold to convert into contribution (daily cap applies)
Contribution's only spend is Guild Enchanting (it also raises guild level). There is no contribution shop
✨ Guild Enchanting
Spend contribution to add a random affix to a white (un-enchanted) item
Items already with an affix cannot be re-enchanted (shown greyed out)
You can target equipped items or items in your backpack
Guild Boss
The old daily guild boss is currently hidden from the UI — it is neither visible nor playable. For guild raid content see Guild Boss (World Dragon) in the next section.
Members & Management
Member list shows the last online date, making it easy for leaders to prune inactive players
Officers can review applications and kick members; renaming the guild is leader-only and costs 200,000 gold
Guilds level from Lv.1 to Lv.20; higher levels unlock stronger buffs
Guild Boss (World Dragon)
A guild-exclusive raid event. Team up with your guild to fight the massive World Dragon — the whole guild shares the rewards. You must be in a guild to participate.
How to Fight
From the guild panel, tap a difficulty card to enter. Each attack is a 60-second fight; damage is computed from your CP.
Each player gets 4 attacks per boss per day, reset at 00:00 Taiwan time.
For each difficulty, the first attack of the day must be fought manually. After that, the remaining 3 can be settled without fighting — see Sweep below.
The bar above the dragon during a fight shows your damage progress for that single battle — not the dragon's real HP (that one is shared by the whole guild; see the bar at the top of the guild panel). It can empty out, and the dragon still won't drop on the spot.
Each boss lasts up to 7 days (a depleted HP bar is settled as a kill that same day — no need to wait it out). Settlement runs daily at 00:00 (Taiwan time), and a new boss appears every Monday at 00:00.
Sweep (Settle Remaining Attempts Without Fighting)
If you would rather not sit through the same 60-second battle four times a day, Sweep settles the rest in one go.
The first attack of the day on each difficulty must be fought yourself. Only after that can the remaining 3 on that difficulty be swept.
Tap ⚡ Sweep All (N left) under the guild boss panel. It clears the leftover attempts on every difficulty you have already fought manually today — up to 9 at once.
A sweep deals exactly the damage of your first battle on that difficulty that day, including whether you won it or went down. Gear, pets and enhancements count as they were during that first fight.
Sweeps count toward your damage ranking and guild contribution exactly like a manual attack. You lose nothing by sweeping.
No battle is played out, so you take no damage and cannot be defeated during a sweep.
Sweeps use the same attempt pool as manual attacks (4 per difficulty per day). After the 00:00 Taiwan-time reset you must fight one battle manually again before you can sweep.
⚠️ How that first battle goes decides all four attempts for the day. If you want to swap gear or pets, or enhance something first, do it before the opening fight — sweeps do not recalculate.
Three Difficulty Tiers (All Open at Once)
🟢 Easy: Lv 1–30
🟡 Normal: Lv 30–60
🔴 Hard: Lv 60+
All three difficulties are open at once — no sequential unlocking. Damage accumulates all day and you can keep attacking after the HP bar hits zero to climb the ranking. Settlement runs daily at 00:00 (Taiwan time): any difficulty depleted that day is defeated and rewarded; survivors keep their HP for the next day.
Rewards
Each attack → Guild Contribution (used for guild level-up and Guild Enchanting)
On settlement → gold / diamonds 💎 / one piece of equipment, distributed by damage ranking (the more you contribute, the more you get). No XP is granted.
Both kill and expire give rewards; killing the boss grants an extra bonus. There is no killing-blow bonus — rewards depend only on the difficulty multiplier and your damage rank
Claim settlement rewards from the "📬 Rewards" mailbox in the top-right corner
Themed Arenas
The World Dragon arena rotates through 8 different backgrounds weekly (lair, shrine, stormrift, volcanic, etc.)
Fixed weather: Storm or Embers
Referral System

Invite friends to join Salary Walker: both of you earn gold!
How It Works
After signing in, find your referral code in the 📬 Rewards mailbox → "Referral" tab (or go straight to hnigel.ink/referral)
Share your code with a new player; they enter it in the same place to bind it
Rewards
+5,000 gold for each side (referrer and referred player get the same amount)
The referred player must reach Lv.5 before it counts — nothing is credited to either side until then
Pro milestones: at 2 / 4 / 8 / 15 cumulative referrals you also get 1 / 2 / 3 / 12 months of free Pro (18 months in total if you hit them all)
Limits
No cap on referrals — both Free and Pro can refer an unlimited number of players
Each account can bind a referral code only once, ever — once bound you cannot use anybody else's. It is unrelated to your friend list: friends and non-friends can both use it.

No login is needed to watch the trailer. The "Share" button under the trailer in the in-game Help panel sends the same link.
Reporting & Blocking
Player-created content is visible in a few places — guild names and descriptions, player names and catchphrases, custom avatars, pet nicknames. If something bothers you, you can act on it yourself; you don't have to wait for support.
Reporting content
A 🚩 button sits on every guild card, the guild info row, the guild member list, your friends list, and incoming friend requests
Pick a reason (spam or advertising / offensive, hateful or adult content / impersonation / other) and optionally add up to 500 characters of detail
We review every report within 24 hours
Blocking a player
A 🚫 button sits next to each friend and each incoming friend request
Blocking removes the friendship in both directions, stops them sending you friend requests, and removes them from your friends and requests lists
This covers the friend surface only: you will still see them in a shared guild's member list, on leaderboards and on guild boss contribution charts. If their name or guild description is itself the problem, use 🚩 Report instead
To unblock, go to Config → "Personal" → "Account" → Blocked players. The section is hidden when the list is empty.
Removing a friend (✕) only ends the friendship — they can invite you again. Use Block to shut harassment out for good.

Batch Import: Paste CSV or text to quickly import multiple stocks
Market Buff
The market buff uses the average daily move of the seven Titan stocks and affects in-game gold and XP gains. It is not based on ^TWII or ^GSPC.
Positive returns = bonus multiplier; negative returns = no bonus
Active around the clock: on weekends and overnight it falls back to the most recent trading day's figures, so it does not switch off after the close
Buff badge displayed in the top-right corner
Theme Card 🏛️
Daily blind-pick from 12 industry cards. Card rarity (and the resulting 24h buff strength) is set by how much that sector moved on the most recent trading day.
Daily blind-pick from 12 guild cards. Card rarity (and the resulting 24h buff strength) is set by how big that guild's latest fortune swing is.
How it Works
The 12 cards are fixed TWSE sector indices: semiconductors, electronics, biotech & healthcare, optoelectronics, computers & peripherals, communications & networking, finance & insurance, steel, shipping, autos, green energy & environment, oil/gas/electricity
The 12 cards are the Twelve Guilds of the Celestial Market: Xuanjing Sect, Wanji Workshop, Baicao Pavilion, Mingzhu Court, Tiansuan Tower, Hongyi Alliance, Jubao Mansion, Gangmo Gang, Canghai Gang, Jilun Sect, Changqing Sect, Dihuo Den
After reveal, the absolute % change of the sector index at the most recent trading day's close determines rarity (Common / Rare / Epic / Legendary) — bigger swings give stronger buffs
After reveal, the size of that guild's latest fortune swing determines rarity (Common / Rare / Epic / Legendary) — bigger swings give stronger buffs
Direction (up or down) does not matter — a big drop is as good as a big rally
Direction does not matter — a big fall is as good as a big rise
Daily choice locks (no changes); pay diamonds to redraw once
Draw odds are identical for Free and Pro (a uniform shuffle of the 12 cards, no rarity weighting). What Pro actually gets is a second card slot per day (2 vs 1) and up to 2 redraws
Which day's market data is used
Always the most recent trading day's close. The Taiwan market closes around 13:30 (UTC+8) and our data refreshes about an hour later.
So if you draw on a weekend, a public holiday, or before the close on a weekday, you get the previous trading day's close. That is normal — the card shows "latest trading day close: X". It does not mean the data is out of date, because no newer close exists yet.
Only when we have actually missed a trading day's close does the card warn that the latest close is not yet available.
If no data can be retrieved for more than 14 days, all 12 cards that day count as Common.
When fortunes update
Always the latest settled fortune; on weekdays it refreshes in the afternoon (UTC+8).
So if you draw on a weekend, a holiday, or before the weekday refresh, you get the previous fortune. That is normal — the card shows "based on the X fortune". It does not mean the data is out of date.
Only when a settlement was actually missed does the card warn that the latest fortune is not in yet.
If no data can be retrieved for more than 14 days, all 12 cards that day count as Common.
The bet is not on direction. The bet is on volatility.
Customization
Pet System
Pets give talent bonuses just by being active, and can be levelled up and fed for extra boosts.
Bring up to 3 at once; order is adjustable and all 3 bonuses stack
Pet talents
Each pet has one fixed talent, always active, growing stronger with level:

Damage reduction
Levelling up
Spend gold to level up — the cap is your current hero level (hero cap Lv200)
Costs rise steeply, especially past Lv99
Talent values keep growing but only slightly — pet upgrades are primarily a gold sink, not a high-return investment
Level transfer
Want to switch pets? You can move the whole level to another pet instead of re-grinding.
Fee: 30% of the gold originally spent getting the source to that level (Lv50 source, ~9.92M invested → ~2.98M fee)
The source resets to Lv1
The target's existing levels are lost, not added — so you can only transfer to a pet at a lower level
The confirmation dialog spells out the fee and what you will lose before you commit
Where: on the Pet page, the row directly above the category tabs (All / Cats / Dogs…), labelled "↔ Pet Level Transfer". Benched pets can be the source too.If you own no pet above Lv1 the row does not appear (the pet level cap follows your hero level, so at hero Lv1 every pet counts as Lv1).

Each feed adds 2 hours to every pet talent, and time stacks — feeding again before the bonus runs out appends 2 more hours rather than resetting the countdown (11:59 breakfast + 12:00 lunch = 4 continuous hours)
Max 6 hours a day, but never one continuous block: the windows are 6 hours apart, so the previous meal has long expired. Only the moment between windows can actually overlap
The bonus starts counting immediately — feed right before you plan to play. Feed in the morning and head out and it burns down while you are not watching
Windows use your device's timezone (not server time), so travelling or changing your system timezone shifts them
Dinner crosses midnight: 00:00–06:00 still counts as the previous night's dinner. If you fed after 18:00 you cannot feed again until 06:00
The countdown on the button is remaining bonus time, not a cooldown — once it expires that meal still counts as eaten
You can also feed straight from the BUFF panel on the main screen: tap “BUFF” at the top right and the “🍖 Pet Feed” row has a feed button. A small red dot appears on BUFF whenever a meal is open, and disappears once you feed
Naming
Give each pet its own name (up to 10 characters). Names are saved permanently.
Companions in Real Life 🐾
Cats and dogs currently up for adoption at Taiwan's public shelters. This is not a game feature and grants no rewards — deliberately so: tie gold or diamonds to it and people open it for the reward, and the whole point is lost.
One exception: if you actually adopt. Email hnigel@gmail.com with proof of adoption and I'll give you lifetime Pro. The reward is for bringing an animal home — not for opening this tab. That line is drawn deliberately.
Where to find it
Menu → "Characters & Pets" → the "Adopt" tab. There is also a one-line entry at the bottom of the Pet page that takes you straight there.
The top of the tab shows animals similar to the pet you currently have equipped; below that is the full list, where you pick a county and cats/dogs yourself and browse nationwide.
How matching works
Based on the pet you currently have equipped, we try four steps in order and stop once there are enough results:
Same breed
Similar coat colour
Similar size
Same species
Every step looks at shelters near you first — adoption means going to the shelter in person, so distant listings don't help
It widens to the whole country only when your area comes up short, and says so: "nothing nearby right now; here are other areas"
Each card always states what it was matched on, so you're never left assuming it's the same breed when it isn't
Over 90% of shelter cats and dogs are registered as "mixed breed", so most matches will be by colour or size rather than breed — that's the shape of the data itself, not a matching failure.
If your pet is a giraffe or a tapir — something no shelter will ever have — or nothing matches at all, we show a random few animals who are waiting instead, clearly labelled as not matched to your pet. We won't pad the list with unrelated animals.
Photos and shelter IDs
Every card shows a photo and carries the animal's shelter ID, and tapping it opens that animal's official adoption page. Treat the official page as the authority — an animal's status changes constantly (already adopted, or reclaimed by its owner), and our photos and data are a daily snapshot that may no longer reflect reality. If the link ever breaks, the ID still lets you look the animal up on the official listing yourself.
Photos are fetched by us and relayed to you, so your browser never connects to the Ministry of Agriculture's site directly — that is what keeps the promise made under "How your location is used" below. Only animals that have a photo are listed — roughly 17% of the source records have no picture, and those never appear in the list or in match results. A card without a photo is hard to judge, so we leave it out.
How your location is used
When you open this tab, the Service estimates your approximate location (city level) from your connection, used only to rank nearby shelters first. That location is:
never sent to any third party
never written to a database
never linked to your game account
and the response contains no coordinates or distances — only shelter names
It is a separate tab under the Pet page and loads nothing until you switch to it. No popups, no red dots, no auto-expanding, no sound. If the data source is slow or unavailable, the tab says so explicitly ("data temporarily unavailable") rather than quietly disappearing and leaving you guessing.
Don't want the tab at all? Turn it off at Settings → "Companions in Real Life". It then never renders and never makes a related request.
Data source
The Ministry of Agriculture's "Animal Adoption" open dataset (Open Government Data License v1), snapshotted once a day; the bottom of the section shows how current the data is. The official listing is always the authority — if one of them catches your eye, please contact the shelter to confirm before anything else.
Title System
80+ titles to unlock (memes, story, tournament, season and monthly ranking titles). Monthly ranking titles are purely collectible with no stat bonus; other titles each provide different stat bonuses.
The collection count on the Equip page excludes Rookie / Elite monthly titles and the story branch titles you did not choose
Story branch titles (Chapters 3, 7, 9 and 11): you can earn only one per chapter, based on your choice
"Stock Veteran" requires tracking 30 stocks; the free plan is limited to 10, so it needs Pro
Bonus types: ATK, DEF, HP, XP%, Gold%, Regen
Only one title can be equipped at a time. If no title is equipped, you get a one-time reminder on unlock and a red dot on the Gear → Titles tab (cleared once you open it)
Add an "Annoying People List" in Settings (up to 50 entries) for a fun twist on combat.

The heroine is always shown — never hidden, in any mode, on any screen
Pets and friends share the remaining space evenly — if three fit, that is 2 pets + 1 friend or 1 pet + 2 friends, never all pets and no friends. "Friends first" / "Pets first" place the preferred kind first and the other kind only if space remains
Whatever does not fit drops off from the back of its own line — on narrow (phone) screens with large pets, pets can be trimmed too; they are no longer drawn off the edge of the screen
Space on the right is reserved for monsters to stop, so phones fit fewer companions than desktops. How many fit depends on the characters you and your friends picked (the widest is 4.8× the narrowest) and the size and number of pets you bring — more noticeable on narrow screens.
Bonuses from companions that are not shown still apply in full. The Friends page tells you how many currently fit.
UI Text Size
If the text on menus and buttons is too small to read comfortably, you can scale up the whole control interface.
Where to find it
Settings → Display → Screen & Appearance → "UI Text Size", right below the language switch. Changes apply instantly, no reload needed. The setting is tied to your account, so it stays the same when you sign in on another phone or computer.
Three levels
Standard: the default, identical to before
Large: scaled to 120%
X-Large: scaled to 140%
What gets bigger
Labels and icons in the mobile bottom tab bar (Drink, Stocks, Modes, Chat, Menu)
Button text everywhere, including the small row actions inside tables and lists
Tab labels at the top of the settings window and the notification panel
The options that pop up from the "Modes" button
The overlay on the game view: the level / gold / salary readout at the top left, the two columns of feature badges (and their small labels) at the top right, and the potion hotbar
What stays the same
Body text and explanations inside panels, the numbers in the investment tables, and text drawn inside the game world such as damage numbers, name tags and speech bubbles all keep their original size. That is deliberate: only the things you tap grow, while content areas stay put, so a screen still holds just as much information and you don't end up scrolling constantly. If body text looks unchanged after switching to Large, nothing is broken.
At larger sizes the mobile tab bar gets a little taller and the game view makes room for it automatically, so nothing gets covered up.
Zones & Universes
The world is divided into 13 zones (Lv1–100). As you travel, the scenery
and the monsters you usually meet change with you — so that "I have walked a long way" is something you can see.
Nostalgia encounters: from Lv10, each spawn has about a 15% chance to be an older monster
below this zone's usual range (never lower than your level −10).
So right after entering a new zone you will still run into familiar faces from the last one now and then — that is by design, not a failed zone change.
Reaching the next zone
6 zones require "beat the boss and reach the level": beating that zone's boss lets you enter the next one 2 levels early
The rest are level-only: walk far enough and the zone opens
You can never get stuck: even if you never beat the boss, a few more levels opens the next zone automatically. Bosses are a shortcut, not a wall
Zone Select
The 🗺 badge in the right-hand HUD column opens "Zone Select", letting you go back to any zone you have already reached — new scenery, and that zone's monsters
Picking a zone pins it, so levelling up no longer moves you forward. Press "Follow Level" to return to automatic
Zones ahead of you cannot be selected. Monsters' maximum level always tracks your level (this is a safety rule — you will never meet something you cannot beat), so picking a far-off zone would change the background without changing a single monster. Rather than let it do nothing, it stays locked
Universes
Lv1–100 is The Prime Universe — the world you started in
From Lv101 you enter The Crimson Universe: the same 13 zones run again, but every monster is enhanced (⁺). Each zone keeps its own palette; which universe you are in is shown by the zone chip, the 🔄 badge and the card tint
The 🔄 badge next to your level on the Stats page shows which universe you are in
Lv193–200 is the Finale — Homecoming: the last stretch of the journey, where from the highest point in the world you look back at the meadow you set out from at Lv1
Background Themes
Salary Walker has a range of scene themes that keep the view changing as you travel.
What themes there are
Themes are tied to zones, not to seasons. Each of the two universes has its own set of 13 zone themes (26 scenes you can actually walk through), running from meadows and forests to snowfields and the final "Homecoming" stretch.
Switching Themes
Your background is now decided by the zone you are in — it is no longer selected manually.
Reach a new zone and the scenery changes with you, so that "I have walked a long way" is something you can see.
To change scenery, tap the 🗺 badge in the right-hand HUD column to open Zone Select and pick an earlier zone you have already cleared.
Each theme has its own unique ground textures, tree styles, and sky effects for a fully immersive look.
Day/Night & Weather
The game features a realistic day/night cycle and weather system.
12 time periods with smooth transitions, sunrise/sunset + moon (real lunar phase) + stars
Dusk (in-game 16:30–19:30): the sky switches to a dedicated pastel-violet or warm-gold sunset and the clouds soften to match; rain brings a darker overcast dusk. Special areas such as the Void and the Abyss, and boss arenas, keep their own sky
Weather: sunny or rainy, each with its own sky, clouds and ground effects (boss arenas add their own chapter atmosphere)
Weather modes: Local (estimated from your network connection, not GPS) / Manual / Random / Off
Fast day/night mode: experience a full 24-hour cycle in 1 hour
Night Scenery
After dark the view switches to where this zone goes at night — not the daytime art darkened, but four night scenes authored separately for it. You walk past gatehouses, market streets, ferry landings and watchtowers; the light comes from windows, doorways and furnace mouths. Roadside fixtures still light up as before.
Four-stage loop: about 90 seconds per stage, advanced by the distance you actually walk (not a clock). The full loop is roughly 6 minutes. Standing still or fighting does not advance it
Coverage: 30 main zones, each with its own four-stage night route — 120 dedicated night backgrounds
Timing (in-game clock): lights fade in from 17:30, full by 19:30; fade out from 04:30, off by 06:30. The night scenery itself switches around 18:30 and 05:30 through a brief (~1 s) fade to black, so day and night images never overlap. In fast day/night mode a full cycle takes one hour
Intrinsic light: places that glow on their own—Void Frontier, the four Abyss zones, Devoured Reach—keep a dimmer base glow during the day
Not applied in boss arenas: daily bosses and guild bosses keep their original scene; lights go out on entry and return when you leave
Shown in both Scene Lighting modes: “Performance” only trims dynamic extras such as the full-vista regrade; the fixtures and background glow themselves are unaffected
Night scenery is purely visual: no stats, drops or unlock conditions change.
Text RPG Mode
Switch to a MUD-style text combat log.
Fully synced with visual mode — all combat data is consistent
Want to peek at stocks or battle stats at work without your boss noticing? Tap the bottom Modes button and pick Spreadsheet — the screen morphs into a fake spreadsheet that looks like real work.
Want to check your battle stats at work without your boss noticing? Tap the bottom Modes button and pick Spreadsheet — the screen morphs into a fake spreadsheet that looks like real work.
How to Toggle
Tap the Modes button in the bottom nav — a menu pops up with three options: MUD Text RPG / Spreadsheet / Mini window
Tap the Modes button in the bottom nav — a menu pops up with two options: MUD Text RPG / Spreadsheet
Pick one to enter that mode. While you are in it, the Modes button becomes Back — one tap returns to the battlefield
Each mode also has its own exit control (MUD: the floating “back to game” button top-left; Spreadsheet: the link on the right of the title bar; Mini: the small back button top-left), and your phone’s back key works as well
Disguise Details
Column letters A B C D E…, grey 1px borders, Arial font — convincingly Sheets-like
Five fake tabs at the bottom: Portfolio / Character / Combat Log / budget_v3 (disabled) / drafts
On "Portfolio", columns A–H show your real watchlist (ticker, name, price, change, %, status, updated); quotes refresh about every 5 minutes
The "Character" tab disguises game stats as tickers in rows 2–9: gold, level, XP, kills, drops, steps, diamonds and watchlist size
Four fake tabs at the bottom: Character / Combat Log / budget_v3 (disabled) / drafts
The "Character" tab disguises game stats as report line items in rows 2–8: gold, level, XP, kills, drops, steps and diamonds
Cells on the "drafts" tab are editable as plain-text notes — formulas are not evaluated
Perfect for: standups where your buffs are still running / watching the market while idling for XP / catching up on battle reports during meetings.
Mini Window Mode 🪟
Shrink the game to a thin strip in the corner of your screen — just your character walking, and fighting whatever shows up. No menus, no numbers, no sound. A small moving window onto the world.
Getting in
Tap the Modes button in the bottom nav → pick Mini
Once inside, resize your browser window yourself and park it in a corner — a web page can’t resize your window for you, so this part is on you
To leave: the small back button top-left, the Esc key, or your phone’s back key
What you still see
Your character walking and fighting, monster names, and both health bars — everything the combat needs
What’s gone: every menu, button, hint and popup. Go back to the normal view when you want numbers
Mini is muted by default
About idle speed: if you can see it, it’s running at full speed. As long as the little window isn’t completely covered by another window, combat runs exactly as fast as normal. Fully covered, the browser decides you’re away and switches to offline accrual (reduced rate, capped hours) — so leave it somewhere you can actually see.
Background Music 🎵
The music button (🎵) on the HUD opens a player panel. AI-generated BGM switches automatically by scene.
General BGM (🎵) — daily walking adventure tracks
Seven Titans (⚔️) — switches to combat music during the tournament
Guild Boss (🐉) — exclusive theme during the weekly guild boss
Skip is disabled mid-combat; auto-returns to General BGM when combat ends
Postcard Collection 🎴
Walking milestones automatically unlock landmark postcards. Open the album with the 🎴 button in the HUD.
225 postcards across 15 countries (Taiwan → Japan → Korea → Thailand → Egypt → India → Italy → France → UK → Greece → Iceland → Brazil → Australia → USA → Antarctica). Taiwan is the first country: 25 counties and outer islands, 75 cards
Free starters: Taipei 101 (0 km) / Jiufen (0.5 km) / Shilin (2 km)
Farthest island: Lanyu (440 km) — earned by walking
New unlocks show a toast + NEW badge; clears on first detail view
Inside the detail modal, ← / → arrows flip through unlocked cards
Progress syncs to the cloud across devices
In the full-size view, use the ← → arrow keys to flip between postcards — adjacent images are preloaded.
Account & Rewards
Account Login & Binding
Salary Walker supports multiple login methods. We strongly recommend binding an account early to avoid losing your progress on device change.
Login Methods
Guest Mode: play immediately on opening the page; progress is stored in this browser and lost if you clear cache
Guest Mode: the first time you open the app, a guest account is created for you automatically — no sign-up needed. A guest account has no way to sign in, so deleting the app or switching devices loses it; link an account early
Google: one-click sign-in with automatic cloud sync
Apple: tap "Sign in with Apple" — available on both the web and the app
Email: sign up with a password; a verification email is sent. Unverified accounts are never deleted — your progress stays put and you can verify whenever you like
LINE: tap the LINE button to authorize and sign in (web only — the app has no LINE sign-in; to play a LINE-only account in the app, use a Transfer Code)
Accounts linked only to LINE: the app has no LINE sign-in. Sign in with LINE on the web, generate a Transfer Code, then enter your player ID and code in the app under Config › Personal › Account
Forgot Password (Email Accounts)
Tap "Forgot Password" on the login page
Enter your registered email — a reset link will be sent (valid for 1 hour)
Click the link, set a new password, and log in
Google / Apple / LINE accounts have no password, so this isn't applicable.
Guest Warning
Once you reach Lv.5, a floating banner reminds you to bind an account
Guest progress only exists in this browser on this device — high risk
A guest account lives only in the app on this device — delete the app and it is gone for good. High risk
Binding carries your Guest progress over to the new account; nothing is lost
Account Management Panel
Open Settings → Account Management to:
View current login status and bindings (Google / Apple / Email / LINE)
Add a new binding (e.g. start with Email, then add Google as a second entry point)
Change password (Email accounts)
Sign in with an existing account: use this to switch back to another account. It syncs this device's progress to the cloud first, then signs you out and opens the sign-in screen. No cloud save is ever deleted.
If the Google / Apple / LINE account you tap "Link" on already belongs to another account, it will not be linked to your current account — you will be signed in to that account instead. This is also a way to get an old account back.
⚠️ But if you are currently a Guest (no Google / Apple / LINE / Email linked), switching means this device's guest progress can never be recovered — a guest account has no way to sign in. Guests at Lv.5 or above get a warning before this happens; to keep your current progress, save a Transfer Code first.
LINE / FB / IG In-App Browsers
Google sign-in is blocked inside LINE, Facebook, and Instagram in-app browsers. The system auto-detects this and prompts you to open the page in your default browser.
Transfer Code (switch device) 🔑
A transfer code is an "escape hatch" for switching devices: if you're a guest without Email/Google linked, use your Player ID + Transfer Code to move your account to a new device. A transfer code is your account key — never share it, and it cannot be recovered if lost. For a real recovery option, link Email or Google instead.
Generate a code (on the old device)
Config → Personal → Account, tap "Generate transfer code"
Your "Player ID" and "Transfer Code" appear, each with its own copy button — copy them separately
Save them safely (screenshot or write them down); don't share
Take over on the new device
Open the game on the new device (a guest profile is created automatically)
Config → Personal → Account, find "Sign in with a transfer code"
Enter the "Player ID" and "Transfer Code" from before
Confirm, and the account moves to the new device — the old device is signed out automatically
Regenerate / revoke
If you suspect your code leaked, tap "Regenerate" to invalidate the old one instantly and get a new one. For a truly safe recovery method, we still recommend linking Email or Google.
Cloud Sync
Sign in (Google / Apple / Email / LINE) to enable cross-device cloud sync.
Auto-syncs every few seconds; saves immediately when you close the page
Automatically pulls latest progress when switching devices
Sync status indicator (synced / syncing / pending / error)
When you sign in again on another device, the cloud save wins; any progress on this device that has not synced will be overwritten. Make sure the previous device has synced before switching.
Single-Device Login
One account can only be logged in on one device at a time. Signing in on a new device kicks the previous device offline (the old device will be logged out on its next action). This prevents two devices from overwriting each other's saves.
Session Length and Signing Back In
A sign-in lasts 30 days. After that a "sign in again" dialog appears. Pick the same method you originally signed up with (Google / Apple / LINE / Email / transfer code) — picking a method you never linked creates a brand-new empty account, which looks like your progress is gone. It is not: your original account's cloud save is untouched, and signing in the right way brings it back. Not sure which one? Start with the one you linked originally; if you truly forget, you can try the other methods on the sign-in screen — none of them delete a save.

Avatars and names sync to the cloud once you are signed in with any method (Google / Apple / Email / LINE). Without login, they are stored in your browser only and may be lost if you clear browsing data.
Daily Check-in
Claim one check-in reward per day (the day rolls over at 00:00 Taiwan time). Rewards follow a 7-day cycle: the 7 cells shown in the panel are exactly what you get. After day 7 the next check-in wraps back to day 1.

Missing a day does not reset the cycle. Your position in the cycle comes from your total check-in days, not your streak. Skip today and tomorrow simply picks up at the next cell — you are never sent back to day 1.
Gold and XP scale with your hero level (the same multiplier curve as the Daily Wheel); the table above shows the base values at ×1. Diamonds are never scaled and only drop on days 3, 6 and 7 (3 / 2 / 5) — no diamonds on the other days, 10 per full cycle.
There is no streak multiplier on gold or XP, and no bonus diamonds for cumulative-day milestones. What the cell shows is what you get.
The panel also shows your current streak and total check-in days. The streak only unlocks titles (7 / 30 / 100 days in a row); it does not change any reward.
The first time you open the app each day without checking in, a toast automatically pops up to remind you.
Pro plan doubles check-in gold and XP (×2; diamonds are unaffected) and increases offline combat efficiency to 90%.
Daily Wheel 🎰
Spin the wheel of fortune once a day for free. Prizes are gold and diamonds.
How to Play
Tap the wheel icon in the HUD and hit "Spin"
Free 1 spin/day, resets at midnight Taiwan time
Spend diamonds for extra paid spins (don't affect free count)
Bulk spin: 10× only (250 💎 — the same price as 10 single spins, no discount, but it carries a pity guarantee), and it can be used once per day
Prize Pool
All 8 slots contain diamonds — the gold prizes (small / mid) come with a few diamonds too, 5 slots are pure diamond prizes (8 / 20 / 30 / 60 / 80 💎), and the last slot is a gold + diamond jackpot
There are no scrolls or enhancement materials in the pool — only gold and diamonds
Drop Rates (Full Disclosure)
The wheel grants randomized rewards. Below are the actual odds for every slot (the free and paid pools differ slightly; each totals 100%). Gold scales with your hero level; diamonds do not.
Gold prizes from the wheel (and daily check-in) scale with your hero level; diamonds are never scaled (to protect the paid economy). Both the credited amount and the value shown on the wheel already include the bonus.
Lv 1-19: 1×
Lv 20-39: 5×
Lv 40-59: 20×
Lv 60-79: 50×
Lv 80-119: 100×
Lv 120-159: 150×
Lv 160-199: 200×
Lv 200: 300×
Pity System
The wheel has three independent pity systems:
Free spin: spin the free wheel 7 days in a row (no gaps) → the 8th day's free spin is guaranteed a high-diamond or jackpot prize; 7-day cooldown after it triggers
Diamond single spin: on your 10th paid spin of the day, if none of the earlier spins hit a high-diamond prize → the 10th is guaranteed 60 💎
10-spin bundle: if the first 9 spins miss every high-diamond prize, the last one is guaranteed at least 60 💎 (it may also land on 80 💎 or the jackpot)
Login-streak pity progress is shown in the wheel panel. Note: 10 single spins and one 10-spin bundle cost the same (250 💎) — both now include pity.
Rewards Mailbox
A unified rewards hub accessible from the Rewards button in the bottom tab bar.
Admins can send server-wide or personal rewards to the mailbox
Drops that did not fit in a full backpack are also held in the "Mailbox" tab (up to 50 items) — free up backpack space to claim them (these drops are stored on your device, so you can claim them without signing in; server rewards such as boss chests and gifts require sign-in)
A red dot appears on the button when unclaimed rewards are available
Pomodoro Timer
Salary Walker has a built-in Pomodoro focus timer to help you stay productive throughout the workday.
Basic Usage
Click the Pomodoro icon on screen to open the timer
Focus duration is picked from four buttons — 15 / 25 / 45 / 60 minutes (25 by default). Other values cannot be entered
A countdown is displayed on screen while the timer runs
How It Works
After completing a focus session, you enter a rest phase
When rest ends, choose to start the next round or finish for now
Completing a Pomodoro session rewards you with an event card
The Pomodoro technique: focus for 25 minutes, then take a short break. Repeat to stay sharp all day.
Daily Events
After walking a certain distance, the game triggers a random event card with surprises, choices, or risks.
Trigger Condition
Approximately every 3 km of in-game walking distance
At normal speed, roughly once every 80–90 minutes
You can hold up to 3 cards at a time; new ones only appear after you use some
Distance walked while you already hold 3 cards is not banked for later — use your cards to keep them coming
Offline walking counts too: when you come back, cards are dealt for the distance covered while you were away (still up to 3)
Cards earned from Focus (Pomodoro) sessions can exceed that limit, up to 9 in total
The limit counts all cards in hand, no matter whether they came from walking or Focus: the 9 includes walking cards, and once Focus fills you to 3, walking pauses until you use any card (cards are always used oldest first)

Heroine Slice-of-Life Cards 🌸
At least one of your first three event cards of the day is a heroine card (Nong / Hao / Xin). This guarantee applies every other day: if it was used yesterday, today has no guarantee (heroine cards can still appear naturally)
They only appear after you have met them in the main story (spoiler-safe)
The further you get in the main story, the more of their daily moments unlock — sometimes you'll even run into them in a special outfit
Event Types
Lucky: Instantly receive a random reward
Choice: Pick one of two options for different outcomes
Dice: Guess whether your roll will be higher or lower than your opponent’s. Guess right for a big reward; guess wrong and you still get a little XP — no gold is lost
Flip: Guess heads or tails; correct doubles your reward, wrong still gives a little XP — no gold is lost
Timing: A cursor sweeps quickly back and forth — stop it as close to the center as you can (PERFECT > GOOD > OK). Stopping at the far edges (MISS) gives only a little XP — you never lose gold
Plus pick, egg, scratch, dig and plinko formats — 10 event types in total. Even the worst result in these never costs gold
Once you roll the dice, flip the coin, pick a card or dig the first spot, the card is used and you have to see the result before closing
Possible Rewards
Gold and XP
Temporary buffs (gold boost, XP boost)
Equipment drops
Some events carry risk. Read the event description carefully before choosing — you could lose gold.
Events are drawn at random from a fixed evergreen pool, so the combination you meet differs from day to day.
Diamonds 💎
Diamonds are the premium in-game currency, separate from gold. They are mainly used to unlock Pro-exclusive characters.
Sources
Daily check-in: days 3, 6 and 7 of the 7-day cycle (3 / 2 / 5), 10 per full cycle; no diamonds on the other days
Guild Boss settlement: distributed by your total-damage ranking (there is no killing-blow bonus)
Paid purchase: only in the App Store app (on iPhone or iPad). Diamonds you buy there also work on the web when you sign in with the same account; the website does not sell diamonds. Diamonds you already own are unaffected. See iOS In-App Purchases & Restore
Admin issue: event compensation, bug apology gifts, etc.
Backpack expansion: +10 slots per step, up to 10 steps (150-slot cap); prices rise from 120 💎 to 3,800 💎, and purchased slots are permanent
More uses are coming soon
During a Pro subscription, all diamond-priced characters are treated as unlocked (all-you-can-play). After expiration, only characters you've actually purchased with diamonds remain unlocked.
Pro Plan
Core features are free forever. The Pro plan unlocks advanced features:
Backpack capacity boosted to 300 slots (Free: 50 base, at most 150 even with full diamond expansion)
Unlimited stock tracking and full asset history
Automated email asset reports
31 Pro-exclusive characters (Beast / Mythical / Demon + Executioner) — all playable while subscribed
All special heroine outfits (3 each for Nong, Hao and Xin; cosmetic only; she goes back to Everyday when Pro ends — see Heroine Companions)
Combat gold/XP +25%
Daily check-in rewards ×2
Offline combat efficiency 90% (standard: 75%)
(Friend cap is the same as Free: 100)
How to Get Pro
Paid subscription: only in the App Store app (on iPhone or iPad; from about US$1.99/month — the App Store shows the actual price and currency). The same account gets Pro on the web automatically. A Pro subscription previously bought on the website stays valid until its expiry date but will not auto-renew. See iOS In-App Purchases & Restore
Promo codes: redeem from events, campaigns, or partner channels
View subscription status, expiry, and cancel in Settings → "Manage subscription"
Salary Walker has an iOS app for iPhone and iPad. The app and the website share the same game account and the same save — sign in the same way and pick up where you left off.
The app and the website share the same game account and the same save — sign in the same way and pick up where you left off.
iPad in landscape: the game view sits in the middle, feature buttons on the right.
Devices and orientation
iPhone: portrait, plus landscape in either direction
iPad: portrait and landscape (all four directions)
The app needs iOS 15 or later; widgets need iOS 16 or later
Sign-in and saves
The first time you open the app, an account is created for you — no sign-up needed to play. This guest account has no way to sign back in, so link it early (see Account Login & Binding)
In the app you can sign in or link with Apple, Google or email. To move to a new device you can also use a transfer code
LINE sign-in isn’t available in the app. If your account is linked only to LINE, sign in with LINE on the website and create a transfer code, then enter your player ID and the code in the app under Config › Personal › Account
An account can be signed in on one device at a time: signing in to the app signs you out on the web or your other device (your progress is in the cloud — just sign in again). See Cloud Sync
Only in the app
Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets: see today’s pay and offline progress without opening the app — next section
Haptics: your device vibrates on level-ups, boss defeats, title unlocks, rare-or-better chest drops and when your hero falls. Turn it off with the main screen’s “Sound” button → “Haptics”
The tournament, market buff and guild tokens work as usual — the app just doesn’t show ticker symbols or price changes
The app is iPhone / iPad only; there is no Android version
Home Screen & Lock Screen Widgets 🧩
Put a Salary Walker widget on your Home Screen or Lock Screen to see how much you’ve earned today and how your offline rewards are building up — without opening the app. Widgets need iOS 16 or later.
Everything in Small, plus level, gold and your hero in a scene
Large
Everything in Medium, plus play time today (online / offline), this month’s pay, distance walked, monsters defeated, and “Claim login reward” / “Quests x/y” reminders while those are unfinished
Lock Screen – circular
An offline progress ring with the time accrued in the middle; it turns into a check mark when full
Lock Screen – rectangular
“Today +amount” (can be masked) plus offline progress
Lock Screen – inline
One line above the clock with offline progress only — no amount
StandBy (iOS 17 or later)
Uses the small widget. When your iPhone is charging on its side in StandBy, the amount is shown large
How to add one
Home Screen: touch and hold an empty spot → “Edit” (top left) → “Add Widget” (older iOS versions show “+” at the top left) → find “走路工” (the app’s Chinese name, used in every language) → swipe to pick a size → “Add Widget”
Lock Screen (iPhone): unlock, then touch and hold the Lock Screen → “Customize” → “Lock Screen” → tap the widget area below the time → choose Salary Walker (circular or rectangular). Tap the line above the time for the inline widget
StandBy: charge your iPhone lying on its side to enter StandBy; touch and hold a widget stack to add the small Salary Walker widget
If a new Home Screen widget says “Open Salary Walker once and the widget will show today's pay.”, open the app once and go back — the numbers will appear.
What tapping does
Small and Lock Screen widgets: open the app; if offline rewards are waiting, the claim window pops up
Medium / Large: tap the offline row → claim offline rewards; anywhere else → open the app
Large also: “Claim login reward” → daily check-in; “Quests” → the quests panel
How often it updates
Today’s pay ticks up every minute on its own, without opening the app (for about 8 hours after you last opened it). The widget works it out from the salary and work hours you set in the app, and makes no network requests
Game numbers such as level, gold, defeats and quests update while the app is open, and once more the moment the app goes to the background
Switching hero or pet, signing in or switching accounts, or getting Pro updates the widget right away
iOS limits how often widgets refresh, so an occasional delay is normal. If the numbers look stuck, open the app and go back to the Home Screen
The scene follows your work day
Medium and Large widgets have dawn, day and night scenes: dawn for the 3 hours before work, day during work hours, night the rest of the time
Night shifts work the same way (e.g. working 22:00–06:00, you see the day scene while at work)
Days off (from your “Working Days” setting, plus national holidays when “TW National Holidays” is on): day from 06:00 to 18:00, night otherwise
Offline progress
After you leave the app, the widget shows how long your offline rewards have been building up. The cap is 4 hours (8 hours with Pro); when it’s full the widget shows “Offline full · Ready to claim”, so open the app and claim it to avoid wasting time. How offline rewards are calculated: RPG Combat.
Hiding the amount on the Lock Screen
“Hide Amount on Lock Screen Widget” is off by default (not masked)
To keep it private: Menu → Config → “Display” tab → “Hints & Display” → set “Hide Amount on Lock Screen Widget” to “On”. The Lock Screen amount becomes ●●● right away
This setting only affects the Lock Screen; small / medium / large Home Screen widgets always show the amount. It is saved on this device only
The currency symbol follows your iPhone’s Region setting
iOS In-App Purchases & Restore
Diamonds and Pro can only be bought in the App Store app (on iPhone or iPad); the website does not sell them. Payment, subscription renewals and refunds are all handled by Apple through your Apple Account. What you buy is added to your game account, so it also works on the web when you sign in with the same account.
Buying from the web version
Any purchase button on the web opens a “Buy in the App” window listing the diamond amounts or Pro benefits (from about US$0.99; the App Store shows the actual price)
Guest accounts: link your account first (Google / Apple / email) or generate a transfer code. An unlinked guest account can’t be found in the app, so anything you buy would land on a new account. After linking, sign in to the app the same way; with a transfer code, enter your player ID and code on the app’s sign-in screen or in Config › Personal › Account
iPhone / iPad: tap “Open the App Store” in the window to download the app. Computer: scan the QR code in the window with your iPhone camera
Android: the app is currently available only for iPhone and iPad, so purchases aren’t available on Android devices. Diamonds are still free from the daily wheel, daily quests, check-in and guild bosses
An account can only be signed in on one device at a time: signing in to the app signs you out on the web — after buying, just sign in again on the web; your progress and purchases are all there
Within 24 hours of opening the purchase window, returning to the web reloads your diamonds and Pro status and shows “In-app purchase synced” if anything changed
What you can buy
Diamond packs: 100 / 600 / 1,300 / 2,800 💎 (consumable — added straight to your game account)
Pro Monthly / Pro Yearly (auto-renewing; same benefits as the Pro Plan above)
Prices are the amounts shown in the in-app store, provided by Apple in the local currency of your App Store country or region
How to buy
Open the store in the app: in the menu's “🏪 Shop” tab, tap “Open Store” on the “💎 Diamonds & Pro” card at the top (the armory, general store and other items further down that tab are bought with gold, not in-app purchases). You can also tap “+ Get” next to your diamond balance on the character page, or “Upgrade to Pro” on the Subscription card in Settings
Choose a diamond pack or a Pro plan
Confirm in Apple's payment sheet (Face ID, Touch ID or password)
Once payment completes, the diamonds or Pro are added to the game account you are currently signed in to
Before buying, make sure you are signed in to the game account you want the purchase on. If payment went through but your diamonds or Pro did not appear (for example, the connection dropped mid-purchase), the app automatically resends the transaction the next time it opens.
Restore purchases
After switching phones or reinstalling, sign in to your original game account and tap "Restore Purchases" in the store. The app retrieves your subscription from Apple and re-syncs your Pro status
Diamond packs are consumable: the diamonds you bought are already stored in your game account, so they are there whenever you sign in to that account — there is nothing to restore
A subscription on one Apple ID can be linked to only one game account. If restoring says it is "linked to a different game account", the message shows the first two characters of that account's ID — sign in to that account instead, or contact support if you need it transferred
After cancelling, Pro stays active until the end of the current billing period and then does not renew
The website's "Manage subscription" in Settings cannot manage Apple subscriptions
Refunds
Refunds for in-app purchases must be requested from Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com); we cannot refund App Store purchases ourselves
If Apple approves a refund, the diamonds from that purchase are deducted from your game account; if a subscription is refunded and revoked, Pro ends. See our Refund Policy

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is Salary Walker completely free?
Yes. Core features are free forever, including salary counter, basic stock tracking (10 stocks), RPG combat, titles, friends, daily check-in, and global chat. The Pro plan offers asset tracker extras and more game content.
Q: Is my data safe?
Financial data (asset snapshots, stock holdings, etc.) is encrypted with AES-256-GCM at rest. We never sell your personal data. See our Privacy Policy.
Q: Why isn't my salary accumulating?
Salary only accumulates during work hours (default: 08:00–17:00, Mon–Fri). Check that: (1) you've set your monthly salary, (2) it's currently within work hours, (3) today is not a holiday.
Q: How delayed are stock quotes?
Quotes are delayed approximately 15–20 minutes. Data sources include Yahoo Finance and Tiingo. Quotes are for reference only and do not constitute investment advice.
Q: Can I use it on mobile?
Yes! Salary Walker is fully responsive and works great on mobile browsers, and you can add it to your home screen as a PWA. There is also an App Store app for iPhone and iPad — sign in with the same account to continue the same save.
Yes. The Salary Walker app runs on iPhone and iPad, in portrait or landscape. Sign in with the same account and the app and the website share the same save.
Q: How do I delete my account?
You can do it yourself in the game: Settings → "Personal" tab → "Delete account" at the bottom of the "Account" card. After two confirmations it takes effect immediately. We delete your account, all game saves, social data (friends, guild membership, blocked list) and cloud backups. Financial and compliance records (payments, subscriptions, reports) are retained as required by law, but de-identified so they can no longer be traced back to you. This cannot be undone.Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription: Pro bought in the iPhone app is billed by Apple, so cancel it first in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or the charges will continue (if we detect an active Apple subscription, the confirmation screen reminds you as well). If you later tap "Restore Purchases" with the same Apple ID on a new account, a subscription that is still active moves to the new account. Questions: hnigel@gmail.com.
Q: How do I get Pro?
Pro is currently available for free via referral codes or promo codes. Invite friends to earn your referral qualification.
Subscribe to Pro from the in-app store. Apple bills your Apple Account; cancel any time in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
Q: What is the Battle Pass?
A monthly seasonal achievement system. Complete goals to earn rewards. Free users get base rewards; Pro users get doubled rewards.
Q: How many times can I fight bosses daily?
Each boss can be challenged once per day, resetting at midnight. Different bosses are counted separately, so you can fight multiple bosses each day.
Q: Are boss rewards affected by buff bonuses?
No. Boss fixed rewards (gold and XP) are preset values and are not affected by equipment bonuses, market buffs, party buffs, or event buffs. Only normal monster kill rewards benefit from these bonuses. The value of bosses lies in their high fixed rewards and guaranteed equipment drops.
Q: How do I use the Pomodoro timer?
Click the Pomodoro icon on screen, set your focus duration, and start. After each session completes, you can choose to rest and continue with another round, or stop entirely.
Q: How often do event cards trigger?
Approximately every 3 km of walking. At normal speed, that's roughly every 80–90 minutes.
Q: What happens when my backpack is full?
When your backpack is full, new drops go to your 📬 Rewards mailbox first — free up space and claim them from the "Mailbox" tab. The mailbox holds up to 50 items; once full, only the best 50 are kept and weaker drops are lost (no gold, no compensation). To avoid losing loot: sell or discard gear you don't need, expand your backpack with diamonds (+10 slots per step, up to +100 for a 150-slot cap), or subscribe to Pro (300 slots). Pro players can also enable Auto-Sell in Settings to clear out low-tier gear automatically.
Q: How do I open the chat room?
Tap the Chat button in the bottom tab bar (same on desktop and mobile).
